The day is getting closer and closer!

Tomorrow will be my last full day in the States, and I jet off Saturday from Chicago, through Istanbul, and finally to Kathmandu 21 hours and 15 minutes later. Tomorrow will be full of packing and last minute prep-- although I've already printed most of my documents (Turkish visa included).

Hi MIISP!

Just kicking off the blog in the last MIISP meeting of the year--

I'll be writing a more official first post later, but here's a quick tidbit about my upcoming adventures just to get everyone excited!

I'm going to be in Kathmandu, Nepal for 4 weeks this summer, volunteering at an orphanage, and teaching English at a Buddhist monastery. I'm super excited to travel to the other side of the world and be in a completely new culture (even if it is a shorter trip than my others...).
